Prayer as Son
God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts...therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son, an heir of God through Christ (Galatians 4:6-7).
My wealth is not in earthly things, but in being God's son!
I have a growing consciousness of God as my Father, and that as a son, my Father is responsible for meeting all of my needs to fulfill the assignment He has given me.
I am truly free to be about my Father's business, and I have every right as His son to call upon my Father based on His unconditional love and care for me for providing my deepest needs.
One of the most precious times in my life is when my mother ends our phone conversation with, "Good night son." That loving expression goes straight to my heart and affirms that I am indeed a son...a son who has been given the right to pray to God my Father in the name of God the Son. In Jesus name, amen!
May our journeys this week be in grace with honor as sons and daughters!
